About Us

Engineered membrane solutions for complex conditions — from wastewater treatment to process separations.

Plum Membrane: 20 Years Dedicated to Innovation in Membrane Separation Technology

Plum Membrane Company holds over 100 proprietary intellectual property patents, including 40 invention patents, and has obtained ISO9001:2015 quality management system certification. As a council member of the China Membrane Industry Association and a high-tech enterprise, the company possesses Level II professional contracting qualifications for environmental engineering and electromechanical installation engineering. It has received support from the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund, been recognized as a specialized, refined, and innovative SME in Anhui Province, a technology-based SME, and has won multiple industry honors, such as the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from China Coal Energy Group.

Starting with Fluid Membrane Separation, Deeply Rooted in Core Membrane Separation Technology.

The company initially focused on membrane technology applications in fluid separation, including fermentation broth extraction (lactic acid, amino acids, antibiotics), natural product extraction (kudzu root, monk fruit, stevia, tea beverages), condiment purification (soy sauce, vinegar, cooking wine), and sugar filtration and purification. This has accumulated extensive experience in membrane-based separation engineering.

Expanding from Fluid Separation to High-Challenge Wastewater Treatment, Serving Multiple Industries.

Since 2007, the company has gradually extended its business to oilfield reinjection water, full-quantification treatment of landfill leachate, and zero-discharge resource recovery in high-concentration industrial wastewater from pharmaceuticals, coking, and coal chemicals, forming a dual-driver model of fluid membrane separation and high-challenge wastewater management.

Focused on Tubular Membrane Innovation and R&D, Building a High-Performance Membrane Product System.

In 2011, the company established a tubular membrane R&D center and built multiple fully automated tubular membrane production lines. Products include PVDF and PES, with the breakthrough development of proprietary PEK tubular membranes suitable for various complex wastewater and material separation scenarios.

Developing Specialized Process Solutions Around PEK Membranes, Widely Implemented in Engineering Practices.

Based on PEK tubular membranes, the company has developed multiple specialized process packages to address technical challenges such as hardness removal, oil removal, impurity removal, fluoride removal, silicon removal, and heavy metal removal. These are widely applied in various industrial wastewater treatment projects, achieving large-scale implementation of technological achievements.
