Plum Membrane Successfully Completes FAT for 2200 m³/d Landfill Leachate and Concentrate NF Full-Quality Treatment Membrane System in Hong Kong
Recently, expert representatives from ATAL, HKRRP, ARUP, and VEOLIA visited Plum Membrane to participate in and witness the event. Hong Kong's 2,200 m³/d full-scale membrane system for treating leachate and concentrate from municipal solid waste. The FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). This round of FAT revolves around the system's Reliability, maintainability, and long-term operational metrics The team conducted systematic verification and exchanged optimization suggestions on key control points, alarm and interlock logic, as well as remote operation & maintenance and data traceability.
This project is based on PEK Tubular Membrane As the core unit, it combines an external MBR (cross-flow operation) for solid-liquid separation, yielding Near-zero suspended solids, low SDI Stable water production; and with NF These units are seamlessly integrated, helping to achieve Total Quantitative Treatment of Leachate and Concentrate, along with Near-Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Objective: PEK tubular membranes feature Oil- and stain-resistant, acid- and alkali-resistant, chemically cleaning-friendly Features such as these enable adaptation to complex operating conditions and help reduce the overall costs of subsequent advanced treatment processes.
