Tea extract is rich in functional components such as tea polyphenols (catechins, molecular weight approx. 200-300 Da), caffeine (194 Da), and amino acids (e.g., theanine, 174 Da), while also containing suspended particles, colloids (such as proteins and pectins), macromolecular polysaccharides (molecular weight > 10 kDa), chlorophyll, and other impurities. The membrane treatment process achieves purification and concentration of effective components through "graded retention," offering advantages over traditional precipitation methods (e.g., gelatin precipitation) or high-temperature evaporation, such as high retention rate, no chemical residues, and low energy consumption.
