Project Introduction
Corn cob is a high-quality raw material for producing xylooligosaccharides (with xylan content up to 30%-40%). The "steam explosion extraction + full membrane method" process is the current mainstream technology route for clean production of xylooligosaccharides — efficiently releasing xylan through steam explosion pretreatment, then combining microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and other membrane technologies to achieve separation, purification, and concentration of xylooligosaccharides. This fully replaces steps in traditional processes such as centrifugation, decolorization, ion exchange, and vacuum evaporation, offering advantages like low energy consumption, high purity, and minimal pollution.
