Addressing the auxiliary agent consumption, flavor loss, and batch-to-batch variations brought by traditional diatomaceous earth/plate-and-frame/chemical clarification in grape juice, ultrafiltration clarification is adopted to establish a mild, continuous pre-treatment: effectively removing suspended solids and colloids, retaining nutrients and flavors, and providing more stable clear juice quality and lower comprehensive costs for fresh-pressed/concentrated/wine base materials.
